aww thanks guys, feeling very much like a bear with a sore head, thats also a bit funny about puppies, it seems.

On a happy note my sweet peas have germinated! Summers on the way! Yippee!

Ahhh, if you were that bad Hannaroon - Id have banned you!!

Joking apart, no one has ben that bad, we all love dogs, that's why we are here, its hard to be calm when you see something upsetting, but as I keep saying, we are in such a great position to educate! :)

I hope you are feeling better xx

just seeing if it is poss to upload this from my phone, my favourite picture from last year. I used to be rubbish at growing sweet peas but somehow last year a miracle happened. This is dude playing with his friend lyra, when they were meant to be posing next to my bumper crop. 07212012235.jpg

cool, it worked, no stopping me now, :)

More info re professional storytelling: Well, I work part time as a librarian managing a public library and I've told (not read) stories to kids for years as part of my job (most people just read to kids, but I like to do both). So, the Scottish Storytelling Centre has an accreditation process where other tellers come and watch you tell at various times and rate you and if you're okay, then you get on their records, I went through the process for my personal development more than anything, but it's something I'm really proud of. I don't do much at the moment (2 kids and part time job) but I do enjoy getting paid to tell stories :) I'm off to Kirkintilloch next week to tell Scottish legends and sing to adults - great fun

What a wonderful piccie!!!!

Today I have been painting a wall mural for my sisters soon to be born baby :)

this week i have been suffering from a horrible flu lurgy, i've been sleeping a lot, at fairly random times, and it seems, getting all grumpy with some of the posts on this forum. FACT.

Don't know how you guys manage to keep so polite to some of questions asked and situations revealed... A couple of my buttons got pushed this week and i wasn't as polite as i could have been. Think i'm turning into a troll! I'm going to try and shut up in future, and not reply to posts that get me upset... How do you guys do it?

My new months resolution is take my dog for a walk, if i feel like i want to get all self righteous, it'll be healthier for me, and good for dude. Least i know its an outcome thats a definite win, and i wont scare anyone off...
I've been forum manager of a huge forum which includes everything up to and including death threats for the last 5 years. That's taught me how to diplomatically disagree with people even if I really want to poke their eyes out with a pointy stick. It takes work but if you can stay on the side of disagreeing with the opinion rather than insulting the person then that's where I draw the line of acceptability.

I think you're wrong and your opinions are stupid because.... is OK

You're stupid because.... is not OK.

Hope you're feeling better soon- lurgs are no fun at all.
