Hi Millie, no pups yet/ Spoken to the vet if nothing happend by monday morning, then going to take her and see whats to be done.Surley something should happen before then. Im going grey with worry by the minute. Been told single pups dont want to come out. :rant:

No, single pups do not want to come out. Mine made a start and kept going back in! Vet to the rescue, not very nice for Mum but lovely healthy bitch puppy so can't complain. Thought it would be a whopping big boy holding up procedure, but was wrong.

He also likes to follow me around when i cut the grass, eating the grass as it comes out the back of the mower :lol:

Oh dear ! but I wouldn't panic to much yet. Because the scan you had done said no pups, I have a feeling it was done too early. Even if you have only one mating there is still a chance the bitch doesn't take for a few days after. Monday sounds a good day to get her checked out at the vets if nothing has still happened, if he can scan or xray her at least he'll know how many you are looking at and whether a C-section is needed.

Have you been taking her tempeture........ this is a good way to find out when things have started.

A non pregnants bitches temp. is 101.5 F (38.3C)

A pregnant bitches temp in the last few weeks is 100.5 F (37.8C)

12 - 24 hours before the bitch whelps it drops down to about 98.6 F (37C) or there abouts.

Beau has just eaten her dinner so not off her food yet.

Another night on the floor for me then in the whelping room. dont realy mind its quite cumfy.Lets see what tonight brings :angry:

:wacko: Hi everyone, still nothing happening. Did her temperature at 7.30 last night it read 37.4 C. I did it with a digital one, but my neice said she doesnt know if its working properly or not so not sure on the result. o Beau has had breakfast now shes sleeping. :angry:

Take her temperature regularly - that way even if the thermometer is accurate you'll see if there's a downward trend.

No show........... we have been Lure coursing.

I should think it will be sometime tomorrow, just keep checking that temp. A trip to the vets for a check over tomorrow (if nothings happening) would still be worth while.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in posting the news. Beau went to the vets where we normaly go, had a check up the vet said no pups. I wasnt pleased with the examination, so took her for a second opinion at another vets.

This vet said he would xray her for me without sedateing her.

So he did that Still the same result NO PUPPIES.

I feel sad that after all this time we have no babies, but at least beau is ok.She just needs to go on a diet or hurry up and loose that rather puffy look she is wearing.
