Jac's Jeeb's is facing surgery for what could be a mast cell tumour, as featured in a lower post. Vicky's lovely fawn & white broke a hock tonight & was rushed to the vet.

Awful event's for them both.

Thanks Terry and everyone else.
Poor Billy broke his hock and snapped the ligament, the vet was brilliant, we've dragged him out of the pub quiz and took him back to his surgery to check Billy over.  Pinning his leg and building a scaffold round it would have been the only option but given he was a really lively bouncy dog he didn't hold out much hope that even that would be successful, leading to a long and painful recovery.  He explained he'd just done the same op on a greyhound who after 6 months of treatment made the leg worse than it started by landing awkwardly, after a lengthy discussion we decided the fairest thing would be to have him put to sleep.

The saddest thing was he continued to run the track and was still wagging his tail at the end :(

RIP Billyboy :huggles:

Thinking of Jeebies tomorrow  :luck:   :luck:   :luck:

Rest In Peace Billy :'( Absolutely gutted that he had such an extensive injury and Billy I feel would of suffered with any futile attempts at repairing it.

Going to be strange not having bouncy tigger about any more. :(

Thinking of you and Mark, mate. :huggles:
