Well done everyone another really good days racing. Some really close finishes again, overall final once again a brilliant finish. Big well done Steve and Glynnis with Hey Girl she ran brilliant all day.
Well done to all the winners and workers, some great racing, just as well there was a camera especially for the up to 24 lb bitch class, all three rounds of this the the camera was called for.Well done to the Old Hall dogs who ran so well, some stars for the future

24lb bitches silver sand and ride a white swan dead heat for 2nd place
silver sand on the injury list after 3 runs at jack cadmen vet thinks her tail is broken right at the base but I still think she has movment we have to wait a few days then have an xray hopfully it isn't as bad as the vet thinks
she got rolled over in her 1st race ran it to the back of in her second then slid along ground on her back side in the third we are hopping she is only badly bruised

I hope Silver Sands is ok and hope it is just bruising for the poor girl.
Thank you to all the Club and Committee members who have worked so hard all
year to get (and keep) this track in perfect condition. Also thank you to the BWRA
Committee workers for all their hard work and commitment - it is very much appreciated.
Even the sun shone!!
It was lovely to see such a good turn out for the pups and yearlings champs
racing. A brilliant days was enjoyed by everyone with some very very talented pups
and yearlings on show, congratulations to all their proud owners and breeders
Looking forward to next years racing.
The Jack Cadman open was, in my personal opinion, a joy to watch. A huge
well done to both the young overall winner Hey Girl and her very committed
owners and a massive thank you (from a spectators view) to all those who entered
and competed in this event, without all of you willing to travel (bloody petrol prices),
hard working club and committee members, (not always appreciated)
and hopefull owners whippet racing would cease to exist.
