Hi!

I judged a whippet club open show the passed weekend in the north of Sweden and third best dog of all dogs entered, from the veterans class was Ch Peperone Personal Effect (by Peperone Passat - "Badger""). He looked better than ever and is getting better and better the older he gets.

The photo is a bit blur but I have enlarged this photo from a bigger one!

He looks like a lovely old gent with one of those I've never intentionally been naughty faces.

Just for interest how old is he and who is his dam?

He's 7 Kerry. Born 10/7/97. Dam is Ch Peperone Paper Model - by Ch Oakbark Mister Wonderful x Peperone Piaffe.

Passat is by Ch Hardknott Quadrille x Peperone Papergirl.

I have admired this dog from photos for a long time too Henrik. Lovely to hear good comments from you about him. :)

I think he does look like his dad too. Thanks for posting the picture of him Henrik

What a star you are Henrik

He does look soo like his dad, that it bought tears to my eyes  . He`s the same shape and has the quality of a Peperone all over him. Is he still siring pups do you know ?

Thanks so much for that , any chance you could email me the photo ?

Two litters in Sweden

  • 1st out of Dk S CH Equus Rölleka (old Nevedith/Carmodian breeding) in 1998, 3+1
  • 2nd out of Perijabass Black Felisia (performance bred, great performer LC, racing, tracking, agility, etc and very sweet bitch) in 2002, 2+2 all black  litter
If there are any litters in Norway/Finland I'm sure that Henrik will know! :)

3 from the first litter have offspring and I hope we will see some black/blue grandpuppies from the second litter

Thanks for that Malin

I have been wishing that someone with a beautiful bitch with Piaffe/Passat/Demerlay Red Admiral in her ped would use him or Kirsi and Timo's Woody .....

Sounds like a good idea to me Lana

He really looks lovely older gentleman, and better now than ever. I planned to use one of his Equus-sons to Nette, but then decided to use Hubbestad Red Devil instead. I think Personal Effect himself would be too tight to Nette who is Piaffe's granddaughter and Passat's great granddaughter. And if I tell you the truth I like more masculine males with stronger bones, he looks quite light and feminine in some photos. But that is just my opinion...

Not too tight for me, Minna ;)

well if she has just two that will be fine - Whipowill and I will handle it! ;)

Last time she got 7 puppies, so... I think we are going to skip this time... :D

Minna, Personal Effect is not close to being feminine in anyway. Actually he is a big boy and has a body as a tank!!! If you're coming to Tammsvik you will see him as he is entered.
