Since Jean was origionally from England and married an american in the service

and brought her whippets to the US when they moved here I thought someone

would like to know - She had a stroke and passed away Aug 1st - no one seemed

to know until yesterday -

Jeans dogs are in the pedigrees of several lines of whippets in the US today

(including ours) We had the pleasure of exhibiting to Jean for several years

in our area since she lived in Oklahoma for quite a few years - she was a nice

lady that willingly shared her knowledge and opinions of the whippet breed

to most that sought her out -

Jean's story of her life in whippets is on the web and can be found at -

Its always a shame to lose anyone who has put in a lot for the breed.

RIP Jean.

It is nice to know that she was willing to pass on her knowledge and has left some good in the dog world.
