Meet beautiful Johnson.
Johnson is currently in a foster home in Cheshire with GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG RESCUE.
This is what they have to say about him:
“Johnson is a bouncy lively young boy who is happy for a fuss and cuddle but does need an experienced owner to give him confidence and focus especially as he is a vocal lad who loves to bark at anything new and unseen. On the lead he is walked in a head collar and is good but can get distracted by external sights and sounds (this is mainly due to being brought up in a very rural environment). Visitors are greeted by an exuberant boy and we would recommend Johnson only being housed with dog savvy older children. Johnson is currently in foster care where they are finding him a delight to be around and he does know basic training indoors and will sit, stay, wait for his dinner etc Johnson is fed on grain free kibble and will tolerate chicken as a treat as well as organic pet treats but anything off the shelf can cause an upset tummy. After muddy walks he is hosed down but he tries to drink most of the water! All in all a stunning boy who will need someone to continue his training. Johnson is currently in foster care as the only dog and he would need careful introduction to any new dogs as he is still so bouncy and vocal. However in his original rural home he was regularly visited by friends dogs and played happily in the garden and was quite chilled around the cat indoors but would chase outside.“
