Today is Moggie's birthday and she would have been 14years old but we lost her last August (my very first whippet). She passed away in peace in her own bed of simple old age with OH cuddling her.

But I've been thinking of her and it would have been her birthday today. When she wanted a cuddle she would come up and 'bump' your leg with her side and I know she would have done that this morning for a Birthday Kiss  (while her Birthday Chicken was roasting in the oven  )

She was also very 'in-tune' with me and knew when I needed a 'bump' for a big hug. So I miss you just now Moggie sweetheart :huggles:

But she's happy at the Rainbow Bridge and I know she's probably lying sunbathing on the grass like she used to do.... here she is last summer catching some rays 8)

Miss you very much Old Sticky

:huggles: to you and the gang. I know just how you feel. I still miss my old Holly girl so much. Remember what a wonderful time Moggie had with you all and I am sure she will be smiling down on you today.

Hope you are having a great time with the rest of the gang up there.. :huggles: its a very sad time, but at least we have our lovely memories... :huggles: :huggles:

Hang on to all those cherished memories. I'm sure they will stay with you forever :huggles: She looked a lovely girl

 What a lovely photo of her enjoying the sunshine. Close your eyes and imagine her next to you - til Zoomie sticks his nose in your ear that is! :huggles:

:huggles: to you all. It's so hard loosing them. :(

hugs to you Fiona and to Rae too who has suffered a sad loss recently. :huggles: its hard when they go and leave us behind but i always think those who are remembered by us with love live in our hearts forever and never die  :)

Ah, lovely old Moggie  Its hard, isn't it :huggles:

Thank you all for all your kind thoughts :huggles:

Moggie would have loved today with the sun out among the crocuses and daffodils. I've planted mini daffodils round her grave but I couldn't visit there today although I was thinking of her very much.

Zoomie and Lottie (and all the others) were very comforting too - Lottie is convinced I keep ham sandwiches up my nose because she's always sticking her tongue up my nostrils  We all had lots of lovely cuddles today :huggles: :) and a sunny walk in the woods which Moggie would have loved. What precious souls our dogs are and I feel honoured to share lives with every one of them

:huggles: Hard day for you Fiona, but then there are those trying to help... Lottie up your nostrils and Zoomie in your ears doing their best bless them! :D It's so hard when you look at a certain day, time, situation and think how much the lost one would have loved it. Feel for you :huggles:
