I am very sad to report that two of the pups died last night, first the little dog pup it was not a total shock as he was very small and took some getting started but we did everything we could for him, but it was a massive blow to find one of the bitch pups had died a couple of hours later as they were both strong healthy looking pups, so it was off to the vets at midnight to get Ellie and remaining pup checked out, the vet scanned Ellie and gave her a good check over and also the pup both were spot on the only reason he could give for the bitch pup was had perhaps the mother laid on it but i really dont think so as we costantly check them and she is in our bedroom through the night, despite a £100 vet bill we came home with the peace of mind that they were both ok.We have bred many many litters over the years and it can be the happiest times but it can also be heartbreaking when things like happen we can only do our best but nature can be really cruel at times, no more puppy breeding in the Armstrong household for a long long time cant take the worry. rip little ones you were loved while you were with us.

Oh what awful news, i was convinced everything had worked out well this time, the main thing though is that Ellie is ok & you have your little girl.

There's not a day goes by that i don't still wonder what if, after Ella lost 4 of her babies last year, you are so right nature is awfully cruel at times.
