awwww congratulations...I'm very glad you used the wording 'first' whippet

Lovely little man

:D He`s a real cutie!!

Your going to love having a whippet!

What a very cute little chap Ollie is

If you don't mind me saying, he looks as though he could do with a bit more weight on him, so don't hold back on his food - give him as much as he can eat!!

If you want any advice on diet etc, just ask :D There is so much good advice to be had from member of K9 - it's where I came when I first got Jinny and she wouldn't eat properly :sweating: ............ now I can't keep the weight off her

All the very best with him and maybe we'll see you out and about at some events next summer - you're not too far from where we are in Devon

Hi there, your baby is a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e!!! I can see his arrival was not an accident - it was well planned - mom went out and bought all the goodies (jacket, toy, bed, etc, etc) before he arrived . . . .

Beware, beware - it starts with one and before you can say "whippet" you find yourself outnumbered by them.

ENJOY

Lorna

Ollie is adorable and what a cute little jumper he is wearing.

Welcome to K9.

awww best of luck with ollie   but i can't see why jane thinks hes underweight

You're right Tish ......... it's probably the angle of the picture :b and also that he is getting to the gawky puppy stage

Don't mind me, Xena Daisy, he is a cracking little lad and I hope I haven't upset you? .......... I should put my glasses on before I look at pictures!! 8)

I thought he looked a little lean too , could be the angle ,

but WHY has he got a coat on indoors ?? cute as it looks , it really isnt necessary

the weather is so mild and he looks to have a thickish puppy coat .

Whippets are tougher than they look . trust me

Shall we take bets on how long it will be before you get number 2 ? lol

welcome to K9

Lovely looking pup ,best of luck ;) They do have their moments through growth where they look like bags of bones

he lovely i love his coat one whippet is not enough though we have 2 welcome to k9 i hope you enjoy k9 good luck with your new pup

:) he is seriously cute , especially that cutie jumper pic . I dont agree about him not having his jumper on indoors, Puppies loose body heat quickly especially if there are no other animals to snuggle with. It probably makes him feel a little more secure as well. good luck

it ain't my puppy but here goes :D re: jumper

I do put on jumpers indoors on pups, because it helps them to get used to wearing a coat, but only for 5 minutes at a time every now and then.
