I think its about a year since I made a donation to Nigel and Judy for the upkeep of K9 , I wonder if many of us realise the commitment , time and money that they put into K9 , just for us , Only when I was `off line` did I think about it .

gonna make big donation, has helped us out alot and put us in touch with alot of whippety people and it helps out any dogs that are lost or need a home, and for anybody who is thinking or has just got a whip its a really good resource of information, the debates are interesting aswell! but its good to read different peoples points of view, and we would'nt have got dylan if this site had'nt have been here! so many plus points and not a single negative!

I think K9 gets a few pennies every time you click on one of the ad links too :thumbsup: so get clicking. Actually I've found some quite interesting things on those links :lol:

Thanks to those who have donated - it really does help.

Right from the start we have funded K9 from our own pockets but now with donations and Google ads it does just about pay for itself. Recently we doubled the power of the server we're on and the increased server charges are being paid for out of donations - so if you find K9 useful then please do help with the costs.

Helen is right we do get a few cents for Google ads followed, but only click on ads if you are genuinely interested. Advertisers pay Google for each click and artificially bumping up revenue by random clicking is a definite no-no.

You may be interested in a few facts and figures about K9...

At the moment we are getting about 500,000 page views per month.

Last month K9 used 25 GB of bandwidth.

January 2006 was the busiest month ever with 10457 posts (compares to 5000 last January)

Recently we were the 105,000th most popular web site in the world! Last time I looked that had dropped a bit to 150,000 but with January's figures hopefully it will be back up soon.
