Last Sunday (september, the 21st), a show of Whippets took place in Germany, in Karlsdorf-Neuthard (in the surrounding of Karlsruhe).

This show was organised by the german club of Whippets (W.C.D.).

The judge was Mrs Mary Lowe from Great Britain.

I don’t have all the results yet, but I can tell you, that my Mango (JEE BEE’S Unbelievable Love Story) won BOS and his half sister Goldie (JEE BEE’S A New Gold Dream) won the BOB.

These two dogs won the title of “Clubsieger 2008” (“Clubwinner 2008”).

My friend bred Zilphas Mascen Wledic. I remember seeing him as a tiny puppy when he was about 4 weeks old when we stood them all. He was the one that stood out even then.

Thanks for the nice comments about Nubie (Zilphas Mascen Wledig) I choosed him as he was 2 weeks old and have no regrets. He is really outstanding. My other dog, Ricky (Whipponga call me mister blue) was only entered to keep company to Nubie. Never I would expect to win the open class in front of so many wellknown winners. It was the first show for Nubie and the second for Ricky who was entered in a local OPEN SHOW 3 years ago.

Yes, you are right, its the same show that you judged last year but in a different place.

It was the championship show of the German Whippet Club ( WCD). It was a nice day and all was very well organised. Each placed whippet received a nice rosette, the winner of each class receiveing a 1 kg box of food (for the dog ) . The CC winner receiving a beautiful vase etc .. A really pleasant show, beautifuly managed during all the day. After Mrs Lowe judgments a BABY and VETERAN whippet show took place. this show was judged by a french breeder, Mrs P. GEORGE who breeds under the affix XCESS and has some nice champions. Nubie was also entered in this show and won his class .. but he was the only one

[SIZE=14pt] I forgot to write yesterday that the bitch JEE BEE'S A New Gold Dream (BOB at this show) won the BIS in Krägga (Sweden) this summer, the biggest show of Whippets in Sweden (288 entries !). Well done Goldie ! :wub: [/SIZE]

Yes, JAX this was the show you judged last year but it was not in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, but in Pfungstadt (it's easier to pronounce, no ? :lol: )

My two oldest whippets were bred by Mary Lowe , they are now aged 15 and 13 and they have been the most fantastic whippets ever

They are the fawn one ( age 13 ) and the white one ( age 15 ) at the front of the photo .
