katie needed a small dog with the right breeding as she is the old lines and he is also the old oakbark lines we can only wait and see what she has i have no idea what colours she will have as he is a cream fawn / white as you katie is brindle / white

he is fawn bred and she is brindle bred

Now we know who dad is, who is mom (registered name) so I can put them in my pedigree program please??

We have bred a number of crosses with this colour combination and you get a bit of everthing, though I must say when we bred Nevedith Ceefa Ceely, a fawn and white to our blackest black brindle male with only white points, she dominated the litter to the point only two pups were black brindle, and both of them were particolours - more white than brindle.

Good luck with the litter. The photo of Dad is very very nice. I imported a Rearsbylea dog many years ago, Rearsbylea Moonwalker and he was a lovely dog out of Woolsocks Summer Blaze and a bitch who was a double granddaughter of the great Mintmaster. Your sire reminds me a lot of my Robbie boy.

We wish you all the best with your litter, good luck

Best of luck with your litter. :luck:

We mated our dark brindle bitch to a fawn dog. We had 3 red fawns, 1 fawn brindle, 1 fawn and 2 red brindles. A lovely bunch.

both prospective parents are posted at whippet archives - I think there is a birthdate (Aug 2009!) in need of correction here: http://thewhippetarchives.net/details.php?id=74272
best wishes for a good and healthy litter

katie has only one week before the big day she is looking rather large she has a craving for sausages
How can you put them on the Archives when they are not even born yet. Don't count your chickens etc comes to mind.
