Just wondered if the KC has lightened up on it's rules about staging shows. I seem to remember there were pretty tight rules about showing KC reg dog's.

I assume you`re referring to our forthcoming event. We`ve already done our homework and taken expert advice . There are no restrictions placed on dogs entering non-KC shows anymore , so people can enter our event without any problems   :D :D :D :D

The KC have lightened up on a few things like they now allow altered dogs/bitches to be shown. You don't need permission or a medical reason, but you do still have to let them know.

They also do allow at some shows non registered dogs to be entered not for competition. I for one am grateful that they do as we only have one crossbreed and 3 purebreds and I hate having to leave Chelsea behind all the time. So for general Open shows we can enter her not for competition. I'd love to be able to do the same for Ch shows, but unfortunately no go (as she's better behaved than some purebreds that are allowed in), so she either gets left home with a friend to walk her at lunch, or she stays in the unentered dogs tent.

I don't know if this addresses your question. Perhaps if you were a bit more specific we could answer you better.
