Hi all,had a great day at Kelmarsh today in spite of the rain, there was a very good turn out of dogs and some great racing with 4 or 5 heats of overs,3 heats of unders and 2 heats of pups.Tracey(beaubeau)s Willow took the overs title with Caroline(peony)s Archer taking reserve.Stormys China looked very strong taking the unders final with Mattys Tilly taking reserve.Couldnt believe our Bella was winning her heat and then decided to come back to her dad after running over half the track  no idea why, would of been nice to see her in the final but there you go :( .and last but not least our little Lexi winning the puppy racing  not sure who the reserve dog is but i know stormy`s mates Gale force made the final

Kelmarsh was excellent, it was very well organised and the judges (showing) were very thorough, we'll definately be going again - although it was expensive!!

Well done Lexi!!!! :D

And all the other winners.

yeah good job Caroline spotted it as we were standing talking to John, luckily Paddy had a comprehensive medikit on board and after a few experienced people had tried to relocate his dislocated toe it was decided amongst us to strap it protectively until John could get him to his vet on return to ireland, someone even had the forsight to have dog painkillers present so the big man wouldnt suffer on his return journey, Colt was amazing throughout though, showing no sign of a problem with the people trying to manipulate his toe about.

heres hoping he has a speedy recovery..

might be time to get yourself some medical supplies John ;)

Well done to everyone who attended on sunday A big well done to lexi who did her mum and dad proud. I hope colt is okay john, and the painkillers we supplied helped him untill you got home. Well done dad with Tilly getting Reserve in the under 23" and well done our old rival China what a close race it was. Must also mention our Murphy who won his class in the under 12 month rough coated dog puppy. See you all again soon. Glynis, Steve Matt Tilly & Murphy.

Congrats to Caroline with Archer getting runner up and also Zara and George getting runner up in the puppies
Well Done both (Worcester dogs)

Thanks Amanda .... :) as you know, I love the racing as does Archer and for him to be up there amongst the 'big boys' is more than I had ever imagined and I am really proud of him. To get congratulations from you experienced people is much appreciated too and I hope to learn more from you all. Archer and I are very much still novices, so for him to win his first heat by about 5 lengths, the second by about 2 and then go on to be beaten by just a head in the final is a real transformation from the gangly pup who had his head in the clouds.

Well done everyone who took part ....the organisation was great and the track perfect, which allowed some close races. Lots of dogs there to keep an eye out for this season I think ............am going to be paying close attention to the big blue dog we met for the first time.

It was good to meet up again with friends old and new and lets look forward to many more Game Fairs, with injury free running and less rain than we had on Sunday!!! :D

Congratulations to all the great winners today. Well done. Hope Colt will be alright John. By the sound of things he has been well cared for. China has done you proud again John. Great news and safe journey home to you all.

Well done to all the winners, and congrats Chris and Julie for winning with Lexi.We won reserve champ with Cracker today, and had Finn and Spike in the Championship at Selby.Had a great few days too.

Hope to see you soon.

Amandaxx

Julie and Chris...i didnt bloody realise who you were !! Im sooo sorry if i appeared aloof but its just how i am at the minute with a fresh speight of back stabbing going on. One minute you think youve made friends only to find them ignoring you till it suits them . Sorry again. Also G_Charlton1...i didnt know you either till i seen your name here this morning... Im gutted ! :(

Kelmarsh was a brilliant track of around 325+ and in great order too. Colt till his semi was running better than ive seen him doin in 2 years ! He abso walloped up the track only to come to grief at the line, goes to prove ..its not over till its over.

ill be doing a really big full report with pix on our weekend later anyway. -_-

well done to Willow and Archer for coming one and two in the final.

A quick well done to Tilly who was rsv to China at Kelmarsh and also Lexi who shows loads of promise !

Just to finish...Thanks to Nick Caroline..Paddy Weaver, Glynis Steve and Helen Swann who all came to Colts aide when he needed it ...i owe you all !
