what is the story behind the prefixes such as Kenmillix and Kenmillfore which can be found in the registered names of dogs of many breeds and bred by various breeders?

The Kennel Club will name dogs for you if you dont have your own affix or kennel name, and I think they go in years ie kenmilone :)) or at least they used to.

That is why different breeds and owners have the same name.

We have the kennnel name tuskenraider we choose that because we like star wars but it wasnt our first choice we wanted skywalkers but it was taken :( . Tuskenraider is our affix and no other breeders can used that affix. We name our dogs names such as hans solo obi wan ect but the are loads of the same names but with different affixes.

I have a smooth fox terrier named hans solo of tuskenraider but there is a beagle called hans solo too but he has a different affix so we are allowed the same name.

You can choose your own names even if you dont have an affix or you can pay for the puppy naming service the kennel club offers.
