hi all my girl was diagnosed with kidney failure a while back, at present she is showing no symptoms of this at all. i started her off with hills kd wet food, she eats it fine. my issue is since she has been on the food she is so hungry all the time and her behaviour has really changed. she has always been really well behaved, content not a barker and settles well at home. since she has been on the renal food, she is constantly barking for food even though she has more than enough, very hyperactive and lots of barking. she always had really good food before and was content after a meal but now its like she cant relax. im considering ditching the kd food. do these renal foods have something put in them to make your dog extra hungry. its seem like on one hand they are to help with her kidney issues but the food is affecting her behaviour really negatively. any advice would be great.
