Just had a text off Mark Roberts Keirens dad Keiren has won a bronze medal 2 days ago & today has Won Gold to become Under 12 WTKA Kata World Champion a massive congratulations to Keiren & thank You to all who donated money towards Keirens trip to Italy.

PS Keiren also has 1 more Final to take part in so lets all wish him well in his quest for another medal well done Keiren. :thumbsup:

Thank you everyone Kieren is over the moon at becoming WTKA 10/12 YEARS WORLD CHAMPION.

BUT can i also mention what a fantastic woman his mum is, the day after we flew out she slipped and broke both the bones in her led the bones actualy percing the skin, when we heard Kierens sensie immediatly offord to arrange for us to fly back to be with her, but his mum asked (demanded we stayed) the first two catagories went ok but he was more interested in how his mums nearly 4 hour operation was going to plate/pin her leg.

once we got the news she was ok i let him phone her then told him to finish the job wed come for.

from his last 4 groups he came away with 1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze.

im pleased and proud of kieren for compeating like a warrior but also to Paula for her selfless act in putting Kieren 1st at a time she realy needed us with her.

thanks everyone, we were supposed tovisit paula tonight but only just walked in planes running late due to weather WHY DOES LIFE NEVER PLAY FAIR.

been up since 5 i'll put some pics up when i find time got a lot on tommorow

the news on paula is good, the operration was successfull, shes very sore as you would emagine but fingers crossed she'll be home with us later today which is why i cant sleep.

Back to Kieren, the event as suggested by the name was a marathon, wake up 6am breakfast 7am, on coach by 7.45 to be in the areana by 8am, warm up/training then into events, finish around 7pm back to hotel shower/tea bed by 9.30 ready for next day.

its funny cos people keep saying I must be proud of kieren? i'm always proud of him but i am very pleasede for him that his hard word and sacrifices have paid off for him, next year were taking his mum with us so no distractions so well be looking for straight golds.
