:luck: Poor lamb! She's going to need some lovely cold vanilla ice cream :)

POOR MYSTI HOPE SH FEELS BETTR AND IS SOON HOME :luck: :luck: :huggles:

Ahhhh, thanks for all your well wishes for madame, she's home, and feeling very sorry for herself.

She's had her op, and an offending piece of wood has been removed.

She's now been out for a wee, and is settled on my bed. I will give her a bit longer, and try her with something nice and cooling, maybe some nice cooling vanilla icecream as an extra special treat for her.

Just caught up with this thread Andrea. Poor little thing. Glad she's O.K now.

Why do dogs love chewing wood??

Glad all went well and she's back home with you now. :huggles:

:luck: :luck: :luck: Mysti - for a speedy recovery!

Poor Mysti. What a horrible experience for her...and you too. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Me too I don't know how I missed it  so glad that Mysti is on the mend, :huggles: :huggles: she's taught us a good lesson from this Andrea because mine are always nicking Jordans pencils I will make sure I keep them well out of reach in the future

:huggles: :huggles: Get well soon Mysti :huggles: :huggles:

I reckon it's virtually impossible to keep everything away from whippets. They just seem to revel in finding nasty things that can cause all sorts of damage. And if you take all the pencils away then they will get a set on something else.

Cash's first fad was my hair accessories; combs, scrunchies, clips etc. Then he demolished a couple of pairs of earrings (he must have had some very pretty beads in his gut and later in his poo ... 'cause I couldn't find any in the bed or on the floor) and yesterday he chewed my eyeliner pencil. I just can't leave him for two minutes in my bedroom he will take something from my duchess and it's crunched to smithereens before I can bat an eyelid!

Hope Mysti's throat is healing well. But she is a whippet pup - I doubt that she will have learned anything from this experience. ;)
