Spry's biggest was 3oz smaller than Lacey's smallest (w00t)

my sister and her hubby can for a quick pee at the pups as they ahd never see whippet pups before they thought they were lovly but they were allso shocked as they were expeting pointy noses they thought the big brown/fawn lad was a staffy pup and the big whiet and black lad was a mastif pup lol they did make me lafe and they thought it odd that human babays if they are going to have a big nosie they have one when there born so wanted to know what genetics tell a whippets noses to grow at what age lol i told the the same gene that tells the legs to grow and run realy fast     my BIL allso said the wheit and fawn lad looked just like a hamster he once had

Wendy you do get stupid comments. The lads I work with have been asking for ages to see my pups so I took a little video on my phone to show them the comment was

God they're fast enough to be whippets

DDEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR they are whippets  :p

Lacey was a bit restle today so I wondere weather dogs were like pups and moved there babys on the 3rd day to stop preditors smelling the new borns. so we completly wiped down the whelping boxs and but new bedding in it and shes settled wonderfully again. ist amazing what instints they keep from he wild after all the years of domestication
