What a lovely fellow! One of my boys (horses that is ;) )  is called Lad too!  Because he WAS ONE!

Very mellow gentleman these days doing fancy pants dressage (he can even bow) but in his younger days WOO HOO! he was a bush racing, camp drafting, cattle mustering, hunting, cross country WILD BOY!

 Ditto!!! His registered name is Ivory Fort, but I nicknamed him Lad for the same reason as you did yours - he is a bit of a lad (w00t)

beautiful looking horses...lovely and shiny...do you race /point to point himas you say when hes race fit

very handsome

Point to point, Jane :) He wasn't 100% last season and, looking back, I am convinced that he probably had a virus. He's much healthier this year (having done absolutely nothing since May 2007 (w00t) , because of my lack of time :( )

What a lovely boy. Personnally I prefer him when he is more "let down" but as I said only my humble opinion.

Me too, Debbie  Looking at that pic from last year I think he looks really rough :( - definitely a happier, healthier boy this year :D

What beautiful horses - they're both lovely.

The horses here are all fed-up of their rugs and the snow - everyone's waiting for the sun on their backs and some greenery in the fields :D

What a lovely type he is, and obviously enjoying his relaxed lifestyle!! Looks good on both pics but, as always with racehorses, it's lovely to see them in softer condtion. How's he bred?

He was bred by a chap in Wales who owned the dam (Ivory Girl by Sharp Victor) and the sire (Bold Fort). T'was a flat bred line and my chap could only just get the three miles for ptp on good ground :( Unfortunately he bled last season (bad one) and he won't be racing again so I shall, with huge regret, have to sell him this year as it's wrong to keep him hanging around doing nothing
