Yes John you are right but then things could not have got any worse thats for sure ---

just hope we can get more interested ----

steve

Tuesday night was different with only three non-peds turning out---

-two pedigree runners ----we have got one of the peds passing now --starting on another Thursday---

we also had three greyhounds -- for a slip

i am hoping to see more on Thursday --

Steve

Brilliant night tonight ---Two pups-------5-Non Ped-----3Pedigree--and Two greyhounds ---plus plenty of watchers

It makes it all worth the effort setting track out and taking traps to start line---even put new string on lure and made a return wheel---

hope evryone enjoyed it as much as we did --

steve/karen

We agree with you Steve brill night tonight , good to see new faces and watch new dogs run. nice to see Tigger coming down the track with two other dogs and not even batting an eyelid. Bear and Anne had a good race putting in their fastest time this summer also nice to see MEG out and about having a fun run still enjoying it at 11 years of age ( think thats right steve )

HOPEFULLY AS STEVE SAID IN HIS EARLIER POST IF YOU ARE FROM LANCASTER OR THE SURROUNDING AREA COME UP TO THE FAR MOOR IN LANCASTER AND WATCH THE DOGS TRAIN , YOU NEVER KNOW YOU MAY ENJOY IT AND TAKE UP THE SPORT YOURSELF , TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 6.00 O,CLOCK SEE YOU THERE

Quote "nice to see MEG out and about having a fun run still enjoying it at 11 years of age ( think thats right steve ) "

Yes Lynne you are right she will be 12 on the 21st of August---- still full of life she just loves running--

but only good for the one dont want her injured now would break my heart hope she lasts another 11 years

she was ok today when i checked her over ---

steve

Would have been good if Ash was there last night with her camera ,never mind if MEGS going to be around for another 12 years there is plenty of time to get a photo, think next thursday if Ash can make it and is not working might ask her to take photos of owners and there dogs to put on to k9 so all turn up in your sunday best lol

Very poor turn out this week --We had a visitor from Barrow-in Furness --Tony with Texas --he travels down with his dog on the train walks up a very long and steep hill over two miles plus from train station to track just to have a couple of runs with his dog then walks all the way back again --he pulls a shopping trolley/bag with all he needs in it racing jackets dogs water and food and a fold up chair plus a drink for himself and a sandwhich --hows that for being keen------ as it takes 45 minutes on the train just to get to Lancaster from Barrow--

hope to see a better turn out Thursday --- :sweating: :sweating:

steve

Much better turn out this evening hope everyone enjoyed themselves I did

Steve

Glad you enjoyed your visit Rob---if any others from the Preston area would like to give peddies or non peds a run please come along to the Lancaster club.

You will be all made welcome thats for sure plus dogs sleep well after a good blast up the track-=-plus if we can offer any help/advice at all we will.

Nice to see Tony our visitor from the Barrow in furness area again with his dog Texas --

We woukd like to see the lads who came a couple of years ago from the Furness area --- if they still have dogs

It was also nice to see the local chap with his retired greyhound back for a run --only a young one three years old--

Tuesday should see more--hopefully===

Mick has promised me he will charge the battery for Tuesday--Leslie Welch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

If we had ten members who were half as keen as the one from the Furness Area it would be all worth while ---we seem to go three steps forward then ten back---there is nothing worse than going week after week setting traps and track out for no one to turn up--

Karen and myself have tried just about everything we can ------- Local press---T V with Harry on four or five times--Local radio------internet---Local Council libary -- at a loss now what to do next--

ITS FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COSTS NOTHING ----WHAT MORE CAN ONE DO!!!!!AS MANY RUNS AS YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR DOG____

But what we lack in quantity we more than make up with quality ---LOL
