So today should consist of the last two bits of Christmas present shopping, a dog bath with Terri at Hardwick Hounds (wish us luck as Brude has only ever been bathed at home in the past, and hates nail clippers so much I now Dremmel them instead), and rounding off the day with a carol concert at the local church

I'm sitting on the fence over the religious bit, but I'd like young H to grow up understanding Christmas to be about 'peace on earth and good will to all men', rather than 'Santa brings me presents'... besides, the toddler group there is particularly good and is the first of the many I have tried where people really talk to you :)

Oh, and the vicar has two Springers, and dogs are welcome at Sunday service, and when I stopped by during the toddler group just to find out when the carol service was, our hound was made welcome by EVERYBODY :D

I would love to go to a church where dogs are welcome! Amazing!!

I had a rubbish birthday yesterday and going in to London has wiped me out, so I'm still in bed!

I need to wrap presents but I'm still waiting for 1 to arrive!!!

the carol concert was great (as was the mulled wine and mince pies)

Brude smells all flowery, and as ever is strangely better behaved after his bath!

A big thank you to Terri - we'll be visiting again :)

My whippets go to Church often, they are often there with me whilst I tidy, clean or set up for services, but they also come to services which I''m not leading too :D
