Hey Mark.I was watching the race through a wee small hole in a camera,as i was also trying to get the pic,but i did a Stormy one ,and missed the lot,so was'nt sure of the distance.Tell you what though.It was'nt going to be any more than 2 or 3 maybe,in the first run of the final.And dont forget,that wee megan is an old age pensioner.And honestly,how many are even kept till that age,never mind still racing,with only one other dog in the country,able to beat them.And dont forget that last week,it was only a couple of length's,and as Rose so kindly imformed me,even youre's could'nt get near that close,and they were virtualy untouchable,over there.Ha Ha Ha.Maybe its time to put her on a racing diet again,and just see if there's anything left in the tank.The All ireland is next month,and although i wont win it with her,i bet she's ready for it,providing there's no training injuries.But as i said,im happy with 2nd place every time(at the minute).How many will stand up,and say that.

Kirsty slipped Megan for me as i was taking pic's.And as she had'nd done the slipping in a couple of year's,and the fact that it was taking ages for the lure to move,as Terry,who was doing the lure,was walking from the top of the field,where the lure pulley was,to the bottom,where the dog's were lined up,ready to go,(for whatever reason)and then as he left to go back up the field to start the lure,the lad who was helping him,was standing shaking the lure at the poor dog's,who then had another two minute's to wait,all still lined up,and going bonker's,till terry got back to where the lure was.Kirsty told me that she missed her slip and Rose,again left everybody for stopped.Now Kirsty also told me that Megan and the other dog,that tore the jacket off Tori,Collided at the very start.I will let Rose reply to this as i did'nt see it,and that is why Megan was back with the other dog,at the begining.Im not calling Kirsty a lier here,but i would like comfirmation of this.I do know that by the time they were 1/2 or 2/3 of the way up,just before the lure slowed,that there wasnt as much in it.In saying that.There was no way she was gona beat Tori anyway.But maybe some day Tori will have a bad one,and wee Meg's will take full advantage of it.Ha Ha.

billy mine raced tori when she was a pup, yes she lost to her but also she had just 5 min before won the puppy racin, so dont put mine down yet and shes a collie x no 15/16 greyhound and just watch what happens this year,mark

Hey Mark.Where did you get the 15/16 out of,or is there summit i dont know about here.What's this all about now.Im not knocking youre's mate,as i know they're two goodun's.But hey,they cant go on forever,and even Tori's time will soon be up,and summit else will come along.Just look at the upset's so far this year,and were only into our third show over here.All the big gun's are falling already.Its worse than the grand national mate.HA,HA,HA.With nothin being able to stay the course,when it come's to the second time around.Maybe it's summit to do with that 15/16,you were talking about.I dont know.Nothing to do with me anyway.Ido know there's a litter of 16/16 greyhound pup's in a town close to me at the minute.They're 10 week's old,and i might invest in a wee bitch from it.Think John might be interested too,just to keep up with the pace.

HATE TO DISAGREE BILLY BUT THERE HASNT BEEN ANY UPSETS THIS YEAR. THERES BEEN SOME FUKN DIABOLICAL RACES ORGANISED AND RACES WHERE GOOD RACING DOGS HAVE BEEN MAULED AND BUMPED FROM THE STARTING LINE. IF YOURE RACING OVER 100YDS MAXIMUM AND 2 DOGS ACTUALY TURN YOUR DOG SIDEWAYS YOU HAVENT A HOPE IN HELL OF RECOVERING. 300 YDS YES...100..NO.

MARK MY WORDS...THERES ONLY 3 DOGS IN THE COUNTRY THAT CAN WIN HANDS DOWN AT ANY DISTANCE PROVIDING THE RACE IS RUN CORRECTLY.

IN THE PAST THERE WAS CHEATING GALORE GOING ON..UNMARKED GREYHOUNDS..STEROIDS..AND OTHER STUFF. ...THANK GOD THE NEW GENERATION KNOW HOW TO BRING THE BEST OUTVE THEIR DOGS WITHOUT TRIPS TO THEIR LOCAL "GREYHOUND TRAINER" (term used sparringly) FOR LITTLE EXTRA JAGS !

Can I ask why everyone keeps putting Rose down? Can we not just say Tori is a cracker and she has proved herself over and over and over again. Why all the Tori will stop winning someday and she will have a day off and she only won cause the slip was bad for the others and she is this and she is that.

Just congratulate the wee girl, what more do you people want? The dog has won more races than I care to remember, she has proven the dog at every level. Yes Tori will get old and so on, but hey there is always another generation remember that!!!

Read the post deary.I said that there was no way she was gona beat Tori anyway.And yes some dog;s do have an off day.Some just stop chasing,and other's do get the chance to take advantage of it.And in the real world,dog's do slow down as they get older,just like ourselve's.Look at Megan.If she'd have been racing when she was a young bitch,nothing would have got near her.But unfortunately she was'nt.Hey, even Ellie look's finished,if she keep's doin what she done last week.

You wanna make this personal okay, lets do it. I NEVER MENTIONED ELLIE MAY, So I would apreciate it if you keep her out of it!! I was talking about Tori. Karen I totally agree, its just that it seems to me, noone can just say well done and leave it at that. I see you congratulate all the time and thats it. No excuses about your own nothing just well done and keep it up.

These people cant just say well done and leave it at that. I was talking in general as well I wasnt even speaking to Billy personally and then he attacked me on a personal level.

The funny thing about it is, after saying my dog was finished, I spoke to Frankie and he says that Billy made a comment to him on the day that his dog was running well, then said to me today she was finished.

Double standards, backstabbing and god knows what else if you ask me. I suppose it comes with the territory but I wont be publicly slobbered at not by Billy or Mark, plus im female so it comes naturally LOL :lol:

3 lengths, 4 lengths, 9 lengths......you female k9ers must be having a laugh...never trust a man over distances. Anytime my girl asks me how long is six inches i tell her about four centimeters (w00t)

Looking at some of the photos of the racing me thinks the lure was too close to the dogs at the start of the race and this may have been one of the reasons for a lot of the mishaps that took place during the race.
