Well Robbie loved to sleep on the sofa's,,,gave up years ago of keeping him and the other dogs off them,,well we got a new leather one yesterday,,he hates them,,wont sleep on then ,,he did jump up to see a cat,,barked a few times then off,,,today he did jump up and bark at the window when I left him to visit family,,,he was at the window when I got home,,but the wee cusions I put on today,,were scattered all over the place,,I forgot to put his bed in the livingroom,,he is now spending his time on our bed,,John wants a leather one to keep him off it at nights,,think Robbie is looking for new home,,without a leather sofa :teehee: :sweating: ..I never thought a leather sofa whould keep the dogs off them,,,Well Gizmo will lie on it,,with a Gary next to him,,but he's not keen on them either,,think its because they cold,,any other whippets not taking to them,,and will this last,,as humans norm on the floor and whips on the sofe lol :unsure:

Mine wont get on the sofa unless its got a thrown on it.

When i take one lot to wash they all just stand and look

at me until i put the new ones on :lol:

I have a leather sofa Susan too, the lads have never attempted to jump onto it.... :lol:

but then they do have their own sofa downstairs too.... :lol:

Our dogs have their own luxury bed but still prefer the sofa.

Oh to be able to relax of an evening without having to squash up on our 4 seater!

Both of our love our leather settee (unfortunately!) but George does wait for someone to warm a place first and then jumps on as soon as you move!

same here..i have 2 leather four seaters and i am always sat squished up..or sat on the arm...or floor :wacko:

Robbie is a smart lad,,he took kicking the small cusions and is laying/ slepping on them,,,he wont go on the sofa's unless he can make a bed out of the cusions,,,,He did leap on my lap tonight,,I have a single reclinging chair,,all leather,,but he slept beside me for ages,,,on this little seat,,told him dad need to get a double one next time as more room,,,,He still wont go on it,,,,unless little cusions to lay on,,Gizmo could not care less,,,we sit on them,,its good enough for him :wacko: (w00t) ,,my next sofas will be leather,,,dogs off and humans on,,till rob decideds he likes them too (w00t) ,,then the cheep ones as it wont matter lol
