Out of interest, was the Hound Group judged by a different judge to Best in Show.

 

Also, who were these judges? always good information for all whippet exhibitors.

Hi & sorry for the delay in replying

We are thrilled to bits with Skys success at the show yesterday. She showed her little socks off--it was quite overwhelming

This show was a Premier Open Show and the breed judge Kevan Ellis had a wonderful entry of around 50 whippets. Sorry I haven't got a catalogue. Maybe someone else can help. We just took Sky and her mum Jaz :thumbsup:

Due to illness the BIS judge was changed and June Durrance was the replacement.

Huge congrats to the RBOB Bali Hi and BP & PG1 Travis. Well done to all in the cards

You are welcome, good thing you didn't go the Stithians!!!!!!! Very odd judging, poor little Pye was totally ignored!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a come down.

BOB was Pixiedust Words of Praze, best Puppy, Liz Baxters Ilbatheez Freeaz Fagin, both were place in the group.

I have a feeling our judge was out of touch on the standard for size!!!!!!!!!!!! Still, enjoyed the day, caught up with folk I hadn't seen for some time, pity it wasn't as sunny as sunday.

Stithians is a show I've heard alot about and have alway wanted to go. But with a full show calendar it starts to get awkward getting so many odd days off of work. Pleased you enjoyed yourself anyway.
