I am looking for a dog sitter who will live in. Does anyone know someone they could recommend?

My dogs have never been in kennels, and would probably die of shock if they weren't covered up with their quilts at night, and didn't get their odd cups of tea!!

No, seriously, We wouldn't be happy going away unless we thought they were happy. We have booked a weeks holiday to Zante in May, and if we don't find a dog sitter I will have to stay at home

I know I could find someone on an internet search, but I'd rather have someone recommended.

Aww hope you find someone - I pet sit for people in the North here and would have gladly stayed and looked after your dogs but Im afraid its a bit too far away, sorry.

That is exactly where we're going - Hotel Zante Maris - do you know it?

My brother went there on honeymoon last year, and loved it!

I believe "Popeye's" is good for food too!!

Yes June i do know of it, you will love it believe me, as for popeyes, all i can say is, mmmmmmm, lovely blue clear skies, turquoise coloured sea lapping at your ankles, hot breeze blowing in your face, holding hands with your loved one, lol and the natives are ever so friendly.

I can't help with a dog sitter but I know someone I can highly recommend who looks after dogs in her home - lovely house and lovely garden (well fenced). She also boards rabbits and guinea pigs. She lives in East Sussex, so probably not much help to you June.

I love the Greek Islands - hope you don't miss a lovely holiday. :luck:

Dont mention the airport June, when we arrived there we had to circle the airport cos the runway was swarming with turtles, and boy didnt i have some fun with an armed guard there.,

How long are you going for? I occasionally look after peoples dogs whilst they are away although they are normally local to newmarket I also do a dog walking service in the local area but a do have a ten month old baby who is very used to the whippets so I would have to bring him with me and made sure my husband agreed
