i totally agree im quite sure my naughty lurcher would bne much less difficult if he lived elsewhere its just matching the right person to the right dog . he needs someone physically strong and confident who knows how to work with a dog who has issues .

I don't think it would even necessarily be someone who had experience of difficult ones- just some one with whom he clicked more easily.

Equally I am quite sure that there are probably many lurchers out there that other people find nightmareishly difficult that would click with you and behave beautifully for you. It just sounds like you have had terrible luck with your matches :( .

:luck: :luck: :luck: that your next one is your soul mate :huggles:

Natty - I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles:

My greyhounds bark. Not loads, but they have voices and they use them! Claire barks when she's excited which can be for food; walks; in play; just going out for a pee! Freddie barks if anybody dares to join in him on "his" sofa! He got thrown off the sofa for that yesterday. I've got my friends greyhound here, Tiggy. She's 9 and also barks when excited. I've got a noisy household this week!! Having said that, they still bark less than most breeds.

Fallenangel and Claire are right - it's best to find a rescue that fosters and takes care to match the right dog with the right family.
