I've been away for ages*, but here are our two sweeties, Minnow and Rhu :) I found Rhu (the sleeping boy) through K9, about five years ago- a tale of many coincidences; he was meant to be ours. Little Minnow girly was a wonderful connection via the Whippet Club.

* I went and bought a horse for my fiftieth b'day, and have only just emerged from the muck heap!

Hi :D

Rhu and Minnow are lovely - and what a brilliant shine to their coats!

......... know what you mean about the horse :sweating: - I sold mine last summer

Gorgeous dogs and wonderful condition. We had one rescue dog and were going to buy a horse for our two girls a couple of years ago but took the decision to go down the dog route instead. We got a second and third dog and know absolutely we wouldn't have had time for all of them. Good luck! Look forward to seeing more of your dogs. :)

Thanks for your comments, gals :)

Here's a pic of my mare doing her 'cos I'm worth it' pose!

I have to admit OH has taken over most of the whippet-walking activities these days- I get to do the cuddling-on-the -sofa duties with the houndies 8)

Ah, thanks Janimal :) Funny thing is , the horse is a hench girly, all strength and curves in a Big fashion, and compared to the whippets, is like chalk n cheese! I reckon the horse equivalent to the whippet is an Arab, or small Thoroughbred; my girl is part draught horse, and more like a Boxer or a Rottie in stature.

We got the whips before the horse, and as things have turned out, they aren't socialised with the atmosphere/conditions of the stables and farm- too many cats n bunnies!!!!

Bit of a poo, since I can't take them with me to do horsey things.

NEXT pup will be right in there from the getgo, so he/she can be cool with the environment :)

What beautiful whippies you have  they are both lovely :huggles:
