this is our normal 'fun' routine in my house

my old man gets up, does the dogs, sorts out breakfast

I crawl out of bed, get the shower then go downstairs for my cuppa which is waiting for me

I then run around sorting out kids stuff and uniforms like a nutter cos I've spent too long drinking tea and watching the news

while I'm doing that my old man eats his usual breakfast of boiled egg with dippy toasted soldiers and a cuppa, with an audience of dogs to keep him company

and every morning he does the same thing!!!!!!!

he call out, 'Ali, quick, looks what's hatched!' and I have to go in the front room to see Zoe sitting on his knee with egg shell on her head (w00t)

'It's a chicklet' or 'Its a baby Dooey-Doos' is the normal response from the kids (w00t)

And she loves it (it's just the camera that she isn't too excited to see :- " )

And I go through this every work-day morning (w00t)

They are all mad

I'll tell you what it's like - it's bloody cold and lonely for the rest of us

:p (w00t) Blimey wish my boiled eggs came with Iggies inside, tho would be very expensive to buy half a dozen free range Iggies down the co-op! Can't be doing with begging dogs though, drooling as they watch me eat  none of my poor deprived dogs get any of my grub until left overs go in their breakfast meal (curries the lot!!) :teehee:

Aw! I like the sound of mornings in your house...!

They're all mad????, who's taking the pictures  :p a little easter Iggie

half a dozen iggies? are you mad????

to be honest we don't normally let ours sit in front of us at food times but our silly old Sunny whippet is so addicted to left over egg that it's not worth the yelping if we shut him in the kitchen - why do they get so wierd as they get older? I always give him some of my fried egg from a cooked breadfast but had egg sandwich they other day and didn't give him any - I had to go and quickly make him some cos he was shaking and crying so much I thought he would do himself an injury!

guess it's not just my old man who spoils the dogs :- "

An Iggie Eggie, I'd like one of those.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww  Just show quite how tiny igs are

ha! so funny and sweet.

what a nice husband too, getting up first. it's SO dark these mornings I cant believe it when my alarm goes off. :(

That's good, so funny, made me laugh! (and the thought of an Easter Igg).

What a lovely start to the day - go to work on an Ig (does anyone remember the old advert, or did I just dream it up?)
