QUITE A GOOD TUERN OUT OF 90+ DOGS TRACK IN GREAT CONDITION AND SOME GREAT RACES. PUPS YEARLINGS VET AND SCRATCH WAS RUN 1ST WHILST MAIN PROG WAS BEEN DRAWN GREAT IDEA AND WORKED VERY WELL.

what a great days racing , some very good races and close, and 4 great dogs in the final which was a brill race right to the line with peggy sue and short spot, two very good dogs and i,m sure will have some good races between these two throughout the year, well done to all finalist, and well done to ray stephenson with attraction taking supreme pup yet again with debbie(nex one to be called irene, not saying why.....lol). well done sue and ste winning the lord byron classic :thumbsup:

i think the idea of doing the two progs ie the pups, yearlings, vets and scratch printed and being ran whilst the yds for lbs prog is being drawn worked very well. great idea imo.

a very well run open with no hitches.

i hope the dog that lost a whole toe nail isnt in too much pain ... poor thing

Hello all you whippeteers, I have just got back from Dawdon

( MONDAY 18th 2.30pm ) 6 hour journey but well worth it.

The North East members couldn't have been more helpful.

Thanks to Joyce Thoburn for meeting us at Safeways and showing us to the track,(would never have found it otherwise ) and to Sharon for guiding us back to the Travel Lodge after the racing.

The track was in great condition and the work the members had put in showed,

all credit to Tanya , Sharon, the ladies doing the tea's etc; and the rest of Dawdon Club members.

Thanks to Tanya who did the Lure all day, Uncle Albert and Dave on the traps, again all day, thanks to the judges, it was the efforts of all you people who made this event the success it was.also the Lure boy who had to work hard for his money

Ray and Anthony Stephens must have been realy proud as three of the pups who reached the puppy final were out of their bitch Time To Fly x 2 Become One,

Bert Madgwick who owns 2 Become One, must be chuffed as well.

Thanks to all of you who turned up to race your dogs, they gave us all a great days racing.

The racing itself had some spectacular finishes, and with the track running slightly uphill it had to be a pretty fit dog to challenge the field to win the race.

The pups sadly only one dog pup took part and that was BALLY BOY 20lb

The Bitch Pups had 10 entries LITTLE HAPPINESS 20LB solo

Bitch Pups 24lb had 4 entries with ATTRACTION 22lb being the winner

Bitch Pups 28lb had 4 entries with a dead heat the first time up between
