I can't believe it , we had a letter to confirm that we had accepted an offer for the sale of the house , then we get a phone call to say the people have backed out due to not being able to get enough fund's

Why go looking at thing's you can't afford it makes me so

Plus we were told they wanted us out by the 6th Oct so have spent about £300 on phone calls and petrol looking at property for ourselves, I even managed to get to look at the bungalow on the river with kennels ,Lovely place and position but the bungalow had subsidence !! not on the detail's.

Now I have lost faith in human's and have got to start all over again with the process of viewer's and time-waster's  I could write a book about them :(

Thank god my dog's keep me sane  at least I think I am :p

oh dear, i do feel for you :(

we had happen to us twice before we finally moved and i was 7 months pregnant at the time, its awful isn't it, the second time the people pulled out because they had simply changed their minds and had decided not to move  not a thought to anyone else involved in the chain

i really hope things turn around for you and you manage to get sorted

:luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

house buying and selling make me cringe too :( ,ive only ever moved once and would love to move again in the next few years but the first move as really as put me off the whole experience of wanting to go through it all again :(

I went after a house last year got a survey done put an offer in then they decided they were going to stay put! It is a nightmare buying and selling houses.

Thanks for the reply's

I think its about time the rules were changed re house buying in this country and we should go back to a deposit payable on so much percentage of the house value.

At least it might deter the time wasters :(

Have calmed down now , ready to start over all we need now is loads of :luck:
