I think they have but will check and thanksI have everything crossed for his safe return.Has he been posted on Doglost too?
Just to say that I've visited all the car park entrances to the park and also done a walk - no 'Found' notices but plenty of prominent places to post some, I've also mentioned him to a few prof. dogwalkers - can't find him on Doglost which I think is where you can download a poster.Hi,I live next door to Roundhay Park, Leeds and will be very happy to post lost pics him if there are any of him to be downloaded anywhere...
I'll take a second walk to Roundhay now and see if any of the locals have any info.
Good luck meantime - Roundhay has a very good dog walking network - just a thought - he wouldn't have been tatooed would he? as I was speaking to a couple whose friend had found what they said was a greyhound poss. on Fri. in the park.
I'll report back if there is any news.
Thank you so much. No he has no tattoos and his owner is now home from holiday and searching for him as well. But any help is greatly appreciatedHi,I live next door to Roundhay Park, Leeds and will be very happy to post lost pics him if there are any of him to be downloaded anywhere...

Can't thank you enough. Big thanks tom Molly as well. It's a week tomorrow.Hi Barbara, the tatooed dog was definitely a greyhound - checked at vets. The poster is now downloadable on Doglost - I'm armed with some downloads and off to post some up.
Strangely, the address that Roly has escaped from is literally round the corner from me! The area is quite 'foxy' and has many large gardens where a whippie could perhaps go unseen for a while, so no news is not necessarily a bad thing.
I'll get my teenagers to ask their 'networks' too - we are known for having whipps so it's hopeful.
Fingers crossed he's found soon.
