The UK Working Whippet Club will be running 2 demonstration 8 dog lure coursing stakes (subject to final confirmation) at Lowther Game Fair on August 9th and 10th in the main arena/ring for the CA . Watch this space for more info!

.....there is a camp site on lowther estate, but its bobbins, we stay on a camp site on the a66 called the beckses camp site which is great and accomodates both caravans and tents, has a local pub(very important) and allows dogs......

......i hope to run the stakes as real competition, with trophy for the winner etc etc, know anyone who would like to sponsor them?......

.....paul sagar will judge while i will slip. pauls wife will commentate and interview those involved......

......i am trying to sort out a time for us but organiser is on holiday.......

.......lowther used to be one of the foremost coursing clubs in england many years ago........

Hope this clarifies a few points

hey guys is there any straight racing for luchers do you know ? Lowther is a reasonably handy trip for me if there was. i might nip over to watch the coursing event anyhoo !
