It's a large mat that covers the concrete step.Having had one of the dogs come hurtling up the step & misjudge it & scrape their legs,it's there as a safety precaution. :thumbsup:

They are just so sweet. Although the wees and poos and things must be a nightmare, having two must be twice as good as having one! I love that first pic :wub:

And the mat pic is a great help - I had been wondering as well. I thought - does she live by a really quiet road or something... surely she doesn't just let her dogs out the front door...??? :sweating:

Glad you all enjoyed the pic of "the mat"!! It was quite scary watching my lot come screaming round the garden & then take a flying leap from about 8 feet away from the step (w00t) .After one of them misjudged the step & crashed their knees,I decided I had to do something! It might look a tad unsightly,but it has saved a few potential nasty accidents!!

On the topic of wees & poos,the pups have been brilliant right from the word go. It's difficult at this time of year to house train a puppy(they don't do wind & rain).I have newspaper down near the door,& 99.9% of the time,they go on it!! :thumbsup:
