Can anybody recommend a good lurcher book???

Just bought Bill Doherty's deerhound longdog and lurcher book.

very good if your into deerhounds and there crosses and enjoy working stories.

Do you want the story type ie plummers merle or more of a practical book

both really wouldnt mind a story type all the practical ones seem to be the same! Unless you know a really good practical book.

Just for the stories plummers merle, some nice black and white pictures of different merle pups.an old book but worth a read.

Frank sheardowns books are also a good read

sighthounds long dogs and lurchers by plummer is useful regarding breed history.

his lurcher breeding book is ok as well.

lowes book on whippets is very good

jackie drakeford does a good one with some nice pictures of different lurchers and a nice easy read.

how about hancocks two books, a bit silly money £35 +but not bad and some good old pictures, he did them to sell his pups.

extreme lurcher work is a good read but hard to get hold of i had a couple and they went within a day.
