My pups now 4 weeks old and a load of tiny tearaways! Time has really flown by. Only 3 weeks left with them!

WOW isnt it strange how the colours come out on pups, look at that one little fawn one in a litter. What colours were the parents SHL?

The dam is black and the sire is blue. They all look black, but some of the hairy ones will turn blue as they grow up. There is also a black that is turning a choclaty kinda colour. They have alot of coat developing to do yet. In the dams last litter she had 2 fawns and 2 hairy blue ones. She would of had 2 fawns in this litter, but the one that died was a fawn male. Still 12 of thge little monsters is plenty enough!

So how many have you got now SHL? I saw a picture with about 20 well behaved dogs sitting on a corner rug. Was they all yours?

Well mum isn't with them now as everytime they suckle on her, they bring all the milk back up. :x They are lapping up water and eating solid food now, so they don't really need her. My signature pic that was all my 11 dogs , but not 20! So not far off. Hugo makes 12, and 2 pups from next litter, so 14 altogether, i have a very large kennel now though and 9 dogs are out in it the day and come in at night. I will be adding another kennel soon, they are much easier to look after when they are outside and they actually like being out there. They have a matress, plastic dog bed with vet bed, a light and their own radio, so not much different to being indoors. )

Hi them pups are looking really well, hugo most certainly stands out, will the hairy ones look abit like our cane, he is so very well behaved, and layed back,( i think you said he gets that from his dad, ) im looking forward to your next litter, love the merles, im going to get one one day

I know he does doesn't he. I think a hairy bitch may be staying with us aswell, not certain just maybe. :unsure: ) Yes some of the hairy ones will end up looking like cane when they go blue. Shadow is very laid back and friendly and he passes this on to his pups everytime. I can't wait for the next litter either.

She should go blue. If we get a buyer for her then she will go, but if not she will stay. More pics will be up tomorrow as they will be 5 weeks old! Only 2 weeks left with em! )
