I picked our little chap up on saturday and he is so gorgeous and has settled in very well to his new home. He loves our older dog who is very good with him and extremely tolerant and at the moment his favourite hobby is tearing madly around the furniture and break neck speed! He is eating very well and as yet he has still to have any "accidents" over night - last night he didn't wake me at all to go out and went from 10.30 p.m. until 4 a.m. without a sound from him. We take him outside every hour during the day (more if we think he looks like he is wanting to go!) and so far so good - he seems to know what house training is all about and on a couple of occasions has been gone to the door and scratched (not sure if this is just coincidence or a clever pup at just 7 weeks!). He is also very affectionate and loves a cuddle and is so pleased to see us all the time - wags his little tail like mad when we come in the room! He is extremely fast for such a small pup and I think he may be a very good coursing dog in time. I am also planning to show him when he is old enough and we have already booked onto our puppy training classes for when he has completed his vaccinations.

I am so very glad we have had one of these pups - the litter truly is full of gorgeous pups and anyone wanting a lurcher pup will not go far wrong with one of these! I am bust taking photos of our little lad (Zair) and will post some as soon as possible!

I'll take some over the weekend. Some have already gone to their new homes and poor Anabel was almost crying as they went away. I think we have three left, two boys and a girl, and I'll make sure we have pics of them posted next week.

We now have just two boys left. One is the smallest of the litter, tan coloured and very lively for his size. The other is a very quiet one, mainly dark but with some brown and white.
