Saturday 2nd October gates open 4.00 pm Racing to start approx 5.00pm

Lurcher racing over 23 and under 23 from greyhound traps(experienced bend dogs only)

All dogs to be booked in by Fri 1st October 10.00 pm

£5.00 per dog(each dog will get 2 runs)

If Littl'Un cleared fit for running I will come along but wont know til the thursday that week :unsure: He has run there a few times but never out of traps so that will be exciting to see how he would do )

would love to but cant andy as damaged 2 toes on his left leg at harewood might come and have a look see

Well just got back from Highgate and had a fab time. Littl'Un's first time out of traps and he totally suprised me by flying out full steam ahead....did the 275m in 16.4s which I was highly delighted with (w00t) First run in 6 wks so not racing fit and first time out of a trap.....bless his little white feet. 2nd run was against the over 23" dog and the race stopped short coz the hare came off it's tracks..so it was re-run and by the 3rd time out of the trap he was relaxed enough to be screaming to be let out to run :lol: :lol:

It was just a shame that there were not more lurchers there to support this even

Thanks to Jeff for guiding me thru it and am now off to make a back board..got the bug now...but been told I am not allowed a whippet tho coz I got enough dogs!!! :-

hi all ,i have run my lurcher a few times at highgate but shes been been lame or i would have come along i enjoyed the whippet racing also ,give the lurchers another go im sure i could possibly get some interest in the event i could have put it on the lurcher link website as quite a few of them race lurchers and highgate puts on a monthley event for them .the last event was attended by 80 plus dogs.
