Hook Norton Lure Coursing Club are holding a lurcher show in aid of

Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue

Meningitis Trust

at Nill Farm, Hook Norton, Oxon OX15 5DQ

Lurcher lure coursing 32 dog stake £5.00 per dog

Also 8 dog lure coursing stake for any pure breed sighthound ie whippets/greyhounds etc

Coursing entries from 08.00, 1st dogs in slips 09.00

Lurcher straight racing after showing for puppies, U23", 23" & over £2.00 per dog

Speed jumping U23" 23" & over £1.00 per dog

Showing............12.30 start, 2 rings

20 classes including U21" & over 26"

2 childhandling classes with trophies

Best rescue class with trophy for greyhounds/whippets/lurchers

Working lurcher class with trophy

All showing classes £1.00 per dog, entries in the ring. :thumbsup:

Rosettes & trophies to champ & res all field events & showing

Rosettes to 4th place

If time/weather/lure allow we will do fun straight racing for any type of dog after completion of racing comps. :cheers:

Entries to all events taken on the day.

All proceeds will go to the above charities.

Spectators welcome.

Entrance to show £1.00 per person, children free

Hi. Sounds good and well done for supporting charities :thumbsup: Presumably you will be running a stake for whippets and a stake for GHs? Can you confirm the approx length of course for the whippets.

maggi & tom, id love to have got across for this show as it looks fantastic. it clashes with one ive already booked up for :rant:

those rosettes are the best ive seen yet and im sorry i couldnt be there with Colt and the China to compete.

2 great charities too. ill pm you on that subject.

Lamping man,

Unfortunatley due to time issues all sighthounds will run together. Whippets, Greyhounds, Afghans etc.

The course will be run over approximatley 450 - 500 yards.

The course will be changed in the later stages of the heats. There will be 4 gates (with the 4th being the finish line)

Here the showing trophies. More to follow lots of trophies yet to of been returned from the engravers.

In an earlier post I informed that there would be 4 gates with the 4th being the finish line. This is incorrect, it should read 3 turns before the finishing line.

WOW - those rosettes look the business, they are lovely.

unfortunatly this show clashes with Buckfastleigh so wont be able to make it.

As most of the organisers will be at the field from friday evening. Please call Tom on 07815522649 for any information or directions regarding the show.

There will be sign posts on approach to the showground with 'HNLCC' :thumbsup:
