"THE MIGHTY COLT" COMES THROUGH TO FINALS OF CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS AT CHOLMONDELEY !

despite TATTON PARKS management allocating a track of of no more than 110 yds the biggest dog in the field came through. he hasnt been of the lead since our club show back on 5 august as i wanted him to peak for the MGF and CHOLMENEDELY....took a risk running him by "CHAMP & RES CHAMP" aint bad.sundays dog belonged to lurcherworlds jill..well done

for those who are interested in the coursing event results...well it wasnt anyone of k9 who won sat & sun !! maybe today tho ;)

ill be posting pix of the actual show later today and the final line up. how very diasappointing that such a huge estate will only let LURCHERWORLD use a sprint-stretch of crap ground.

incidently thanks to the lurcherworld guys who made me feel more than welcome ! plus i had the tallest female ring steward in the world !! i was fed up carrying a set of step ladders around with me

we went today and had a great time.went in the foody tent and sampled all the nice cheeses and ciders  we had stalls there last year but cos of the great british weather we didnt bother this year, friends of ours had stalls there they spend 6 months in india and 6 months over here, they said business wasnt very good and some other friends who are importers of pet products said business was good on the sunday but saturday and today werent brilliant and the cost of the stalls has gone up big time.we went looking for the vintage motorcycles but there werent any! asked the bloke on the gate and he said they werent here it must be another show!i said not unless theyve infiltrated your website cos i saw it advertised on there that there were vintage bikes on! anyway we had a nice day watched the childrens handling and a bit of the lurcher judging.was going to enter razz in the terrier puppy class but we somehow missed it while we were sampling the drinks in the food tent! :- " oh well theres always next year!

yeah we went today 2 .. my dad didnt need any diner after sampling all the cheese .. they were loads..! good day owt today :D

Glad you enjoyed it Becki :D Well done John, another great weekend for Colt :D Karen

ooooooh nearly forgot.did anyone else see kevin out of coronation street the guy who owns the garage?he had a maroon t shirt on and had a young lad with him(his son maybe?) :)

No, i didnt' see him but i heard he was there! Did you have a good time there? :)

Jadee

yes we had a great day out.there was much more there this year than last year

We went yesterday & had a good day out despite Hebe gashing her foot open in the first hour. She was "chasing the bunny" & probably caught it on the pulley :(

She's sliced a flap of skin off her back foot. Thanks very much to the Lurcherworld people for patching her up yesterday

She's been a bit subdued today & is wearing one of my old socks to keep it covered up. She isn't putting much weight on it but can still manage to stand on it to steal the cats food off the worktop :- "

Scrumpy had a go at the coursing but wasn't impressed with the muzzle. We had to leave Hebe in the van so she couldn't see what was going on, she'd have got so wound up her blood pressure would have shot up & her foot would have started bleeding again :( Even Rafferty had a go at chase the bunny.

Hope everyone had a good time too

come on someone lets have the results of tatton park
