On behalf of the New Appointed Race Manager of Maidstone a vote was taken today regarding Superstar Points. The vote went in favour of pulling out the Superstars.

Many thanks

Either you are supporting the Maidstone Open and club - Or you're not. :(

If you are - enter the Open and run your dogs

(I know some have problems in the West Country - please don't import your problems to us living in the East!) we just want to run our dogs, we are happy for you to continue the arguements on your side of the country. but leave us out.

Think of it like this - the cost of petrol is fast approaching £1.10 per litre - best you save your money and stay at your own club.

Maidstone open is still running as advertised :) Any changes that are made will be advised

Crikey the West Country covers a lot more of England, Wales and Scotland that I thought that it did. When did that happen? ;)

we don't live in the west country ? did not know they had problems .we also have the right to make our own decisions with out you trying to incite an argument .

has for the fuel cost we use diesel and don't mind where we travel :)

telling people to stay at their own club is rather rude don,t you think and not very welcoming that sort of comment to people who also just love to run their dogs is uncalled for :(

Thats a very off putting remark to anyone " stay at your club racing" and not promoting whippet racing

Also giving the open a bad bit of press before its staged.

Good luck to all where ever you go or don't go

As you are not even an official of the club Rob, I hardly think it is your place to answer on behalf of Maidstone. The original statement was posted by an official, so that is where the enthusiasm for entering came from - shame it seems to have been overturned :( You won't stir any arguments us amongst us, we are happy doing what we're doing, and we don't need to be told by you or anyone else where we can or cannot run our dogs

good comment Lee.... ;)

as for your comments Rob as usual i dont think it even deserves a reply

its no wonder whippet racing is where it is today with comments like yours :(

im sure the maidstone committee will be thrilled that your advising we all stay at our own clubs

once again you have graced us all with the childish remarks that i (for one) have come to expect from you, another trouble maker looking to cause more unrest :(

i didnt know the west country went as far up as Reading?? :D and where anyone lives has no reference to anything, i find your comments rude and insulting...nothing new there then -_-

What is going on with Pedigree Whippet Racing,

Why don't people just run there dogs and get on with it, grow up or go back to school

All that I have heard this weekend, I am thinking of packing up racing after 40 yrs

Supposed to be promoting Whippet Racing not driving people out

Same old people, same old rubbish

I for one find stay to the west of the country very demeaning and deflammatory. I live in the North and I thought that north, south, east & west were all friends now. I spend lots of money travelling up and down the country to meet new friends, compete my pet whippets against some of the best dogs in the country so "I THINK ROB YOU ARE BEING VERY NASTY UNFAIR WITH YOUR COMMENT " further more "I THINK THE PEOPLE IN PEDIGREE WHIPPET RACING ARE THE BEST AND NICEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD " :D so please dont tell me to stay at home thank you. ;) ;)

Best plan is just to race your dogs where ever you like. What is the point of all this nastiness? Old friends snubbing each other over it. I saw it this summer at the Lizard.

Such a shame.
