Its not so much Mary Ray that is the problem, but all the other old biddies that pass themselves off as 'Heelwork to music ' experts in various demos round the country. How bad are they??????

sadly for me the Mary Ray thing just passes me by....i don't get it at all....i think its all a bit silly and over rated after all the dogs aren't so much attuned to her as simply working for rewards....initially she used food rewards etc....well forgive me but pretty much anyone with a half intelligent food responsive border collie could do that kind of thing....it's not hard to get a dog to follow hand signals for the right reward. -_-

i thought Crufts coverage was pitiful....so many more breeds and dogs could have been covered.

i also take exception to the wasted viewing time showing "hero" dogs...there are loads of deaf people with assistance dogs etc...it's just another cheap way to pad out the programme....would have been much much better to have watched a few more breeds being shown.

as for the muppets presenting the programme....well frankly my dopey beagle could have done a better job in his sleep.

as far as i'm concerned they should just show loads of showing/judging...just tell us who and what the dogs are and then just shut up and let us enjoy perfect examples of the breeds....

*breathes* :b
