just wondering what people think of getting a weekends racing going for the weekend the English Derby's usually ran in which is may bank holiday ,maybe a good idea lets hear what folks think :thumbsup: no stupid comments please this is for the good of whippet racing not a negative post :thumbsup:

i really hope theres some kind of open on then and wot about alison and colins anoso open normally on the mon? dont want to appear negative but will swallownest track b ok @ that time of year? pity manton wudnt b ready by then or will it? never been but wot about gin pit or wotever its called? ive heard great reports about there.or wot about 2 opens and 2 diffrerent parts of the country 1 on sat 1 on sun say 1 up north 1 in the midlands or south just suggestions :thumbsup:

Manton won't be ready by then Carole - was hoping for it to be ready for July/August 09 but they seem to have fallen a little behind with the schedule so its just a case of wait and see what happens and when at the moment. :thumbsup: and the main thing when it is finished if its up to standard

Alison and Colins ANOSO open is to be run on the Monday of the NNWRF CHAMP weekend at WHITTON CASTLE and as we have now offered the JUNE STEELE MEMORIAL to the Devon club we can accommodate the JODAMI OPEN on the Easter Monday alongside the NNWRF EASTER CLASSIC at WHITTON CASTLE if Joyce would like to or visa versa think I'll leave Alison and Joyce to sort them out between them :- " as Joyce has had the Monday of the champs weekend for the last 2 years

a little birdie tells me there could be something on the cards from the sunny South for the May bank holiday weekend so all is not lost 8)

well i hope theres gonna b something on either up north or in the midlands maybe if theres nothing else on shaz will put somat on @ dawdon or betty @ horden. come on its a bank holiday weekend there has 2 be something on. i dont intend on going down south unless its old hall or somewhere like that which is south to me. :lol:

but if u have people traveling from south ,scotland ect were they goin to stay its a full weekend would be nice to have it all in one place maybe garyor dee could see about witton castle,and if IRG would like to put a days racing on that could be a good thing as well jmo
