erm why is it that everyone always says the southerners travel? not being funny but us north east people who live in newcastle do to. highgate is south to me just over 2 hours heck even easington is south to me not getting @ anyone but we travel just as much as the southerners ( if we want to of course)

the midlands live in the best place imo think il follow moira and move to old hall lol :lol:

i cud add how many hours it wud take us to get to old hall, blidworth, worsc or devon but i wont :- " u never know we may go to the weekend event as i normally have that week off work it just means id have to take my usual sickie on the fri or even the thurs and fri i used the funeral one this year maybe i have a wedding on peters side cant say mine coz i work with my sister and niece lol :lol:

here carol that time we went down we followed chris and garry gorton,the head gasget went on his motor,it took us 13 hours to get there (w00t) we stoped the 10 days and the aa took him back on the back of a flat back wagon and his 5 dogs,took them 10 hours to get back they had to keep swopping wagons each time they got into a different county,it was one of the best whippet trips we have ever had,the fancey dress was brill,would go back anytime what a fantastic place

not so bad if 2 people travelling together can drive but gerry cant and i cant drive for 8 hours ill be asleep at the wheel

We have the option of having the first May Bank Holiday for a week-end at Fordingbridge, but as I said in an earlier posting it will need to be discussed with all the memebrs at the AGM.
