Minnie and Cooper have come to live with us. We bred Minnie and Cooper was sired by one of our dogs. After 4 years in a loving home their owner has found due to peronal reasons he feels he can no longer care for them as he would like. He tried to find them a new home together but was unsuccesful and so contacted us and asked if we could help.

We collected them on tuesday night on wednesday they went for their walk were we found that they had not been socialised properly and would try to attack any dog they saw. I found 2 halti's that we had used before years ago and put them on and with a bit of help from OH and a water pistol went for another walk. There was a great improvement with their behaviour. Today we have walked past dogs that were off their leads without doing any more than looking at them. We have also discovered that they respond more to OH as they have lived with a man for the last 2 years with none or very ilittle contact with women

good on you for taking them back and looking after them :thumbsup: it must be dreadful to be in a situation where you have to give up your dogs and i cannot begin to imagine how the owner felt to have to rehome them.... i do hope you find a good home for them, good luck :luck:
