I've been waiting and waiting and waiting but not one person has even mentioned who won at Melbourne Royal. OK so from this is I can assume that no K9 members did anything note worthy.

I'm not asking for a blow by blow but who the hell won and what was the breeding? Is it a secret?

It's only the [SIZE=14pt] BIGGEST [/SIZE] dog show in Oz and no results have been posted. :rant:

Could anyone post the the major award winners in whippets please?

The highlight of the Melb Royal for me was parking in the Flemington Racecourse carpark. Just amazing thinking about some of the history that goes with the place. My 2 puppies got well and truely dumped. But that's dog showing for you.

Here we see Gajo & Angus at the car park of Flemington Racecourse. Yes there is a lot of history there. I will never park there. I always park in one of the houses near the show grounds. )

For those that dont know, the Racecourse Carpark is also known as the Flemington Beat, :x

I got first with Dino (Aslan That's Amore) in Minor Puppy Dog at the Melbourne Royal - against Noreen Harris showing one of Colin Sarantis's dogs sired by Rogue.

And Aime (Aslan Chanson D'Amour) got 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch.

Minor Puppy in Show : Shenkhan Majik Moments (A/NZ Ch Sheberghan The Pilgrim x Ch Shenkhan Drums and Roses)

Puppy in Show : Shenkhan Spilss the Beans (Litter brother to above)

Junior in Show: Shenkhan Strike a Tune (A/NZCh Sheberghan The Pilgrim x Shenkhan Striker Fox)

Ch Shenkhan Drums and Roses also won Best Progeny.

Congratulations to all the other winners too.

I had a wonderful time at International Whippet Congress and the National Whippet Show in Melbourne. As always the hospitality offered by the Australian folk was ACE.
