I have visited other websites - forums where they have a memory garden, in fact I have a memorial page on another site for a little dog I lost back in august 2005... I can visit the page whenever I want to read the poem I put on for him and see his pictures and his story.... what about doing it on this site I am sure that lots of people would like to have a special place to visit too?

That sounds a lovely idea, but maybe some think it a littel morose(?sp)

Im sure Im right in saying we never forget the ones that are no longer with us , and maybe some of us would find it very hard to but piccys and a verse on of those we have lost recently . I know I would :(

i have just lost one of mine and could not do it ,but maybe in time it would be ok

I mentioned this ages ago and Nigel said he was considering it..... I think it was when we started the thread about whippets that had sadly gone. :(

My little friend Chip is on this site. :( lost him February 29th 2004 I do so love this site and visit it quite often.

what a lovely idea. Just went to visit petorest and think its brillent.I recently lost my 18month old whippet and would be great to write about him and have his pic up,a place where u can visit time and time again.

I think it's a lovely idea to have a memorial section within k9.

A simple place to go & say a few words with a photograph of them as a tribute to their lives.

Actually, how about a 'tribute' page to the living aswell? Or is that naff? I know I'd put a tribute up to my Sam like a shot . . . . . .

i think it would be lovely. here we admire the living, young and old, so a chance to admire and remember our lost friends would be a natural progression.

Well what do we think then........... can we have one? o:)

I would like one. I have put Dessie and Lester on the Rainbow Bridge page of Pedigree Dogs and often read about the other dogs as well.

I have become obsessive about DW and need pictures everywhere and memorials to her as much as I can gather

probably too complicated, but given that so many dogs here are related, a family tree set up would be nice, so that even though a dog has passed on, owners of their descendents could 'get to know them', see the family resemblence, be it physical or personality quirks. it would be nice, giving a sense of continuity.

just wondering?

For me personally it wouldnt be a good idea, i couldnt put anything on there, would be quite happy with my memories. Each of us are different, it may be good for others. :))

Yes, there will be a 'Memorial forum'... soon.

It's something that I should have done ages ago & I've let it slip. I think it is more appropraite that a section is set up in the Gallery. I promise I'll look at getting something within a week or so...
