Just for the record at no point did I make references to any clubs or organisations until prompted to do so, therefor I will not be held accountable for bringing them into disrepute, the people who published names are responsible for that, also I did not make the statement that I was told my dogs were not good enough, the statement was already made earlier in the post.

Before anyone adds to this topic I would ask that they read the updated K9 Rules.

A couple of sections have been changed and they now read:

By using K9 Community you agree to these rules and must obey them at all times - these rules apply to all areas of K9 Community including the Forums, Gallery, Personal Messenger and the Chat Rooms. Anyone ignoring the forum rules will be liable to appropriate responsive actions. If you do not agree with these rules please do not use K9 Community. Remember that your use of the K9 Community forums is a privilege at our discretion - it is not your right.

and

You must not make personal attacks on other persons, organisations or users. If you feel you must criticise then criticise the idea not the individual or group. Any posts criticising individuals or groups will probably get removed and those doing the critcising will be warned via the warning system.

>I didnt actually put the post in here however it was what the conversation was about

I was referring to the first post.

>As you feel it acceptable to insult my wife and dogs on a public chat forum I would like to invite you to discuss the matter further with myself as you requested, I can be contacted on 07917 573507 or feel free to visit me at my home which the address you already have. I look forward to it.

The first post (ie this thread) has nothing to do with whippet racing at all. That was my point. Though it has now. :(

If I can make a general point NOT about this one thread but also others like it. Whilst I can understand that things have got way out of hand with so much nastiness etc happening and people falling out all over the place. Is the board and this forum in particular the place for these issues to be aired. IMO it's not helpful to the people concerned as it's just carrying on the upset and adding to the list of grievances and when it's on this forum it's not helpful to whippet racing. As I said in my previous post it's not just this thread but all the others going back months that I'm referring to. I'm sorry that that didn't come across Lesley.

Re slow dogs generally. I race two of the slowest dogs running on a track. There are people on here who've seem 'em run and can confirm this fact. Last Sunday Mouse won a race and came from the back. Yep it seems that Mouse 1) can overtake other dogs cleanly and 2) that there are slower dogs than him out there. 3 in fact. Every dog has his day. With some the day just takes a little longer to come.

When I took over as Charman of the NPWRC I thought that I was chair of a whippet racing club not a kindergarten.

If, as has been stated before, people air their views in public, then they must take the consequences. I have every faith in Scott as a competent racing manager and see no reason and have no intention of disciplining him. Scott has said that he will telephone you Andy and I think that that should be the end of this pathetic episode. For the sake of the good name of Whippet Racing I would like to see an end to this thread.

and have no intention of disciplining him
ummm now this is interesting.

As i understand the rule on disaplinary action if a fully paid up member makes a complaint to the Secretary about another member/official the Secretary makes that Complaint known to the Chairman, they then arrange a date/time for a meeting to be held, The Committee along with the persons concerned all recieve 14 days notice in writing of the said meeting.

At the meeting both partys concerned have the right to attend to have their say the committee then descuss the matter and they then decide as a committee what if any action needs to be taken.

Firstly as I have already stated I am not the one who brought the NPWRC into this thread, therefor I do not face any consequences as far as I am aware.

In your position of chairman if you feel this is appropriate behaviour from a senior member of your club I respect your decision.
