Where we walk our dogs there is a big meadow with long grass & some tracks mowed across the middle for people to walk along. The lurchers love running & bouncing through the long grass but they also find mice in there.................and have started to eat them :x

Today, Hebe spent ages rooting one poor little mouse out & then gulped it down all wrapped up in a mouthfull of grass....well at least she ate her greens

Is this normal?? And will it do her any harm? Should I worm her just in case?

YUKK :x :x

mine root out the mice on the nature reserve and eat them,so i guess its normal and i worm mine every 3 months so hope thats enough

mmm, lovely with a bit of spicy sauce on them :D

wouldnt worry...gypsy does it as well....she is wormed every 3 months...never had a problem :)

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you - it's just a bit of extra protein

Just very small bunnies to my gang!!!!

The finder of the mouse tends to lead a chase for a while until they tire of it, and then one of them will eat it :D

Never had any problems - mine are wormed every 3 months
